meet atlas — the ai coach that already knows what you ate.

short answer: atlas is the AI coach that ships free inside every tandoco account. macros are pre-counted on the meals you order from us, so atlas auto-logs them the second they arrive. then it stitches in your sleep (apple watch / whoop / oura / garmin), your workouts, your caffeine, your hydration, and a built-in atomic-habits-style habit tracker — so the whole wellness loop lives in one app instead of five. read the full atlas page or order a box and atlas turns on automatically when the order lands sunday.

why we built atlas instead of recommending another app

every customer i talk to is running three or four wellness apps at once. one for macros (myfitnesspal). one for sleep (whoop, oura). one for workouts (strong, hevy). a habit tracker (streaks, way of life). maybe a hydration nag. and the data never talks.

that was the gap. you'd hit your protein on tuesday, sleep 5 hours on wednesday, deadlift wednesday morning, and no app on your phone knew enough to say "your recovery is in the red — eat tonight, lift saturday." we wanted that loop. and we already had the highest-friction part solved: tandoco meals come pre-counted on macros + 26 micros, so the food side auto-logs the second your sunday box lands.

that's the seed. atlas is the AI that grew from there. it's not a separate product you buy — it's the thing that turns on inside your tandoco account the day your first order arrives. free. opt-in. private.

the four things atlas tracks (and why they all need to live together)

1. macros + 26 micros. protein, carbs, fat, fiber, iron, b12, vitamin d, magnesium, the rest. for tandoco meals, pre-filled — you don't lift a finger. for everything else (the bagel you grabbed on the way to work, the bar mid-flight), one-tap log with a built-in food database. atlas tells you what you're trending low on this week so the recommendation it makes for next sunday's box actually fills the gap.

2. habits — the atomic kind. not "drink water 8x today." identity-based habits. you declare who you want to become, atlas counts the small daily votes that move you toward that identity. more on this in the next section. (we borrowed the framework from james clear's atomic habits — we just turned it into a one-tap tracker.)

3. sleep + recovery. apple watch, whoop, oura, garmin — atlas reads the recovery score, the HRV, the deep sleep minutes. and it watches your caffeine cutoff: if atlas sees you logged a cold brew at 4pm and your sleep was 5h that night, it nudges the cutoff time earlier next week. not a lecture — just a quieter little dial.

4. workouts. lifts, runs, classes. log in 5 seconds. atlas correlates the load with macros and recovery — so when you ask "why was tuesday's workout so bad," it can answer "you slept 4.5 hours and ate 60g protein the day before. here's what to fix saturday."

small votes, big self — the atomic habits piece

the habit tracker inside atlas is built on james clear's identity-based framework from atomic habits. the central idea: every action you take is a vote for the kind of person you're becoming. the goal isn't to "hit 100g protein today" — it's to become someone who hits their protein. small vote. small vote. small vote.

you pick the identity in atlas. examples customers actually use:

• "i'm someone who eats 100g protein." • "i'm someone who walks every morning." • "i'm someone who's in bed by 10." • "i'm someone who lifts three times a week." • "i'm someone who drinks water before coffee."

atlas counts the votes. one-tap log. it doesn't shame you for missing a day — clear is explicit that never-missing-twice is the rule, not never-missing. atlas just shows you the streak, the rolling 30-day rate, and the trend line for the identity you picked.

if you've read the book this will feel familiar. if you haven't, the book is worth the seven hours — jamesclear.com/atomic-habits has a free chapter and the audiobook is clear's own voice, which is the version i'd start with.

how atlas turns your sunday box into a feedback loop

here's the loop, in plain order:

thursday 11:59 pm: you place your tandoco order. atlas sees the items and pre-loads the macros for the week ahead — protein totals projected, fiber, iron, the rest.

sunday: the box arrives. atlas marks each meal "available" for the week. when you scan a meal (or just tap "eaten" in the app), the macros land in today's totals automatically. no manual entry.

monday through saturday: you log anything else you ate (one-tap food search), your workouts, your water, your caffeine. atlas reads your wearable for sleep and recovery overnight.

thursday morning: atlas posts your weekly recap — what you hit, what you missed, what's trending low. and it puts a "smart picks" pill at the top of the store: "add lentil dal sunday — your iron's trending low" or "add an extra egg-bite 4-pack — protein dipped tuesday/wednesday." you decide whether to take the suggestion.

then the loop restarts thursday 11:59 pm. all of this is opt-in. atlas never auto-changes your order.

where the human coach fits in

atlas is the AI layer. if you want a HUMAN reading the data alongside you, tandocoach pairs you with a vetted trainer, nutritionist, or lifestyle coach. they see the same data atlas sees and tune your sunday box every week to match. atlas does the math; the coach handles the conversation, the form check, the accountability.

tandocoaches are personal trainers and nutritionists — not registered dietitians, not medical professionals. if your wellness loop needs medical input (post-surgery, GLP-1 prescriber, etc.), that conversation stays with your doctor; atlas just gives you cleaner data to bring to that appointment.

for most customers, atlas alone is enough. for the customer who wants a second set of eyes, the coach pairing is $9.99/mo (free for the client; the coach pays the platform). cancel anytime.

is my data private — and what does atlas actually see

atlas only reads what you give it. wearable connections are opt-in — you have to click the apple-watch / whoop / oura / garmin button before it sees any of that data. the food side reads only what you log (your tandoco order metadata + anything you add manually).

what atlas does NOT see: your medical records, your email, your location, your photos, your messages. it's a self-contained app inside your tandoco account.

what we do with the data: nothing outside your dashboard. we don't sell it. we don't share it with advertisers. we don't train a public model on it. the AI features run inside your account — your data isn't pooled into someone else's recommendations.

you can export everything atlas knows about you as a CSV from your account, anytime. you can delete it the same way — and if you delete your tandoco account, atlas data goes with it.

how to turn atlas on

if you've ordered tandoco before — atlas is already there. log into your account, click "atlas" in the nav, and the dashboard loads with whatever data you've logged so far (every tandoco meal you've eaten is already in the macro history).

if you haven't ordered yet — order any tandoco box (delivery starts at $4 across the twin cities metro and is free over $65, or free pickup). the moment that order is paid, atlas turns on. the moment the meals are eaten, the macros land.

wearable connection takes about 30 seconds per device. habit setup takes about 90 seconds — pick 1-3 identities to start, atlas walks you through it.

FAQ

what is atlas?

atlas is tandoco's in-house AI coach — macros, habits, sleep, caffeine, and workouts in one dashboard. free for every tandoco customer. it auto-logs the macros on every tandoco meal you eat and stitches in data from your wearable (apple watch / whoop / oura / garmin) for sleep + recovery.

do i have to pay extra for atlas?

no. atlas is free for every tandoco customer. the moment your first order is paid, atlas turns on inside your account.

what wearables does atlas work with?

apple watch, whoop, oura, and garmin at minimum — for sleep, HRV, and recovery data. you can also log manually if you don't wear one.

does atlas replace a human coach?

no — atlas is the AI layer, not a replacement for a person. if you want a human reading the same data alongside you, tandocoach pairs you with a vetted trainer / nutritionist / lifestyle coach. they see the same data atlas sees.

how does atlas use atomic habits?

the habit tracker inside atlas borrows james clear's identity-based framework from atomic habits. you declare an identity (e.g. "i'm someone who hits 100g protein"), and atlas counts the small daily votes that move you toward it. read clear's free chapter at jamesclear.com/atomic-habits.

is my atlas data private?

yes. atlas only sees what you give it (wearable connections are opt-in, food logs are yours). we don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or train a public model on it. you can export everything as a CSV from your account, or delete it permanently anytime.

can i use atlas without ordering tandoco meals?

atlas is built into your tandoco account, so you need at least one order to activate it. once it's on, you can log non-tandoco meals manually with one tap. but the auto-log piece (the part that saves you from manually entering every meal) only works on tandoco orders.

where do i sign up?

place any order at /store and atlas turns on the moment the order is paid. for the full feature tour, see /ai-coaching.
