the linden hills farmers market: a 2026 guide.

short answer: the linden hills farmers market runs sundays, 10am to 1pm, through october 25, in the settergren's lot at 2813 w 43rd st. it is small, neighborly and walkable, and the tandoco booth is there every sunday from 10 to noon. pre-order by thursday if you want a swole roll waiting for you, because the booth sells out most weeks.

the basics

when: sundays, 10am to 1pm, through october 25, 2026.

where: the settergren's ace hardware lot, 2813 w 43rd st, minneapolis, at 43rd and upton in linden hills. a couple of blocks from the lake harriet loop if you want to make a morning of it.

cost: free to wander, like every market in town. bring a tote and a little cash for the tents that prefer it.

tandoco: the booth runs 10am to noon every sunday of the season. we are not there in the last hour, so come early or pre-order.

why this one

most twin cities markets are events. linden hills is a neighborhood.

it is a single lot, not a fairground, which means you can see the whole thing from the sidewalk and be through it in twenty minutes if you are on a mission, or spend an hour talking to the people who grew what you are buying. kids on bikes, dogs on the fence line, coffee from around the corner. it feels less like an errand and more like the neighborhood has agreed to meet at 10.

and it is the one we chose. we moved our sunday booth here from lake harriet in july 2026, and the first weekend we did, we sold out. that story is in our sold-out weekend, and it is why linden hills is home on sundays now.

how to do it right

come the way the regulars come: on foot or by bike. street parking on the blocks around 43rd and upton is fine at 10 and gone by 11, so if you are driving, aim for the open and expect a short walk.

do a full lap before you buy anything. it is small enough that you can, and the tents rotate through the season, so what looked like the best tomatoes at the first table has competition three tables down.

then build the week backwards. produce for what you will actually cook, bread for the mornings, flowers for the table, and dessert from the tent with the line.

what to bring home

it is a real farmers market, so the answer changes by the month. berries and greens early in the season give way to sweet corn and tomatoes in august, and by october it is squash, apples and the last of the peppers. bread, eggs, honey, flowers and prepared food rotate through all season.

and dessert. that part we can speak to personally: the tandoco booth brings swole rolls (a scratch-made cinnamon roll with 22g of protein), cinnie minnies and macro chip cookies, with the macros printed on every label. they are the thing people walk back for, and they are usually gone before the market closes.

how to not miss the booth

two fixes, learned the hard way.

1. pre-order. everything we bring to linden hills is on the menu. order by thursday at 11:59pm, choose linden hills pickup, and head to the booth on sunday. we will have it ready, guaranteed, sell-out or not.

2. get the heads-up. the events page has the live booth schedule for both markets and an alert signup, so you will know if a sunday ever changes.

saturday person instead? our home market runs every weekend in richfield. here is the full richfield farmers market guide, the best-markets roundup if you are building a whole weekend of it, and a protein-first market guide if you shop the tents with your macros in mind.
